Just when you thought 2020 couldn’t get any more bizarre, Tekashi 6ix9ine decided to load up Instagram Live.
Minutes after making his official return to the game with “GOOBA,” his first single since his premature prison release, Tekashi 6ix9ine has emerged from the rainbow-tinted shadows for his Livestream — exactly as promised.
As fans begin to catch wind of his whirlwind return, with some going so far as to hate-listen out of sheer morbid fascination, 6ix9ine has opted to step onto the digital podium and address his public. Some are likely to be adoring — others, like basically every rapper in the game — will be far more critical.
Expect the chat to be filled with several notable cameos, and while it’s unclear whether 6ix9ine will openly address his newfound reputation, it should be interesting to see where the young rapper’s head is at. All signs point to, well, nothing really having changed. We’ve already seen him crack self-deprecating jokes at his own expense, as well as clap back at anyone trying to tear him down a notch, including Meek Mill. In fact, in “GOOBA,” he goes so far as to ponder how “a rat came home to a big bag.” Unrepentant to the core, it would seem.
If you’re here, it’s because you have questions. Perhaps it’s curiosity that brought you to this point, dead cats be damned. Perhaps it’s simple admiration for the young Tekashi, who seems likely to be on the verge of a full-blown comeback. In any case, the day of reckoning has arrived – Tekashi 6ix9ine has come home, and he’s got something to say.
Head over to the rapper’s Instagram page to watch the madness unfold for yourself.
