We may have to wait until the summer to receive Drake’s sixth studio project, but he won’t leave fans hanging in the meantime. On Thursday (April 30), there were rumors floating about the internet that Drake was planning on sliding fans a new mixtape by the end of the day.
Putting the speculation to rest, Drake took to his Instagram page to share that he would be giving us a new project, Dark Lane Demo Tapes—a mix of new and old tunes.
“My brothers @oliverelkhatib @ovonoel put together alot of the songs people have been asking for (some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes) DARK LANE DEMO TAPES out everywhere at midnight,” the rapper wrote. “Also my 6th STUDIO ALBUM DROPPING SUMMER 2020!!! Lucky number 6 😈 soon fwd.”
Dark Lane Demo Tapes features a host of noteworthy artists including Chris Brown, Future, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Fivio Foreign, Giveon, and Sosa Geek. Check it out and let us know what you think.
